Solid roots, global perspectives.
The first steps
Our journey began in 1998 with the founding of Centro Servizi Mauro, a data processing center. But the family business dates back much further, when Antonio Mauro founded Mauro Spedizioni in 1977. From his teachings, we acquired the method, precision, and operational rigor that still guide us today.
In the following years, we expanded our scope to include customs operations, support services for foreign trade, and logistics.
The 2000s
With the arrival of the 2000s, we broadened our horizons, beginning to take our first steps in the world of international shipping.
Important projects arose, in partnership with other companies, such as the movement of large materials for the construction of industrial plants in other countries. It was during these years that Centro Servizi Mauro specialized in maritime traffic for goods arriving and departing from Italian and foreign ports. All this while continuing to guarantee our clients precise customs assistance and consultancy.
In 2008, we obtained ISO 9001 quality certification.
In 2012, the Italian Customs Agency certified us as AEO Custom, with an AA rating, the highest recognition of reliability and security in customs clearance.
2014 marked another important milestone: we joined the international 3F network, beginning to build a dense network of agents and correspondents that would enable us to rapidly develop our global shipping business.
2016
2016 marked our maturity. We became Mauro International Services, a name chosen to reflect our true operations in foreign markets. It was the moment we began to build the network of solid relationships that makes all the difference today.
The Company Today
Today, led by Maurizio and Roberta, the second generation of the Mauro family, we combine the attention to detail typical of a family business with the strength of an international structure. Thanks to our membership in strategic networks such as 3F, Freyt World, and Seajet Logistics, we can guarantee an operational presence on every continent, offering companies and our foreign partners rapid and direct solutions.
